An introduction from the maker behind the business !

Hello to all! First of all I want to thank you in advance for supporting my small business.  I have gone down many many paths trying to figure out what brings me joy and how to make it my job.  While I don’t think there is any ONE right answer to that question, this business is the first milestone towards that goal.

I wanted to share a little bit about myself, because who I am drives how I run my business.

So, here we go!

My name is Kelsey. I am from Minnesota originally and have bounced around to a few other states but I ended up in Colorado with my husband and our kid.  I got my B.S. in Geology because I loved learning about the earth (and yes - I love rocks), but I have spent most of my adult life as a bartender.

While there are many things that I LOVE about this industry, it is also one that I don’t feel is sustainable for the life/lifestyle that I currently live and want to live in the future. I could talk for days and days about my love/hate relationship with the bar business, but the long and short of it is that being my own boss is my dream!  I want to be able to make my own hours so that I can experience my own life and my kid’s life while we are all young, healthy, and able. 

A few things I am passionate about (besides my kid - she’s always #1): sewing, traveling, hiking, learning, and being kind to the earth. 

I will be posting blogs periodically and I will share tips/tricks/failures on my own journey to become less wasteful.  I will accept knowledge, feedback, and constructive criticism from you all.

I can’t wait to continue creating products for you all and I hope that you all will join me in an effort to be less wasteful in a way that is accessible to everyone, no matter where you are on your journey.
